Hepatitis A: It rarely is life threatening, the person gets infected by consuming water or food contaminated with human waste
Hepatitis B: This Hep virus gets transmitted from mother to child, and also through contact with contaminated blood. This hepatitis is also known as serum hepatitis.
Hepatitis C: it is the most common form of Hepatitis and is transmitted by the contact with blood of an infected person. This is a serious illness that can drive to cirrhosis and liver cancer.
Hepatitis D: This is a less common form of the virus, and usually affects drug users already infected with the Hep B virus. This form of Hepatitis is serous due to the fact that complicates the health situation of the people that are already suffering with the Hep B.
Hepatitis E: This form of the virus is very common in places with poor sanitation. It rarely is life threatening.
Currently there are available vaccines for Hepatitis A and B. The other types of Hepatitis do not have a vaccine.
